My Figure of Clay..The Golem!!

I ended up making this figure of Sculpey i found in one of my boxes of old art stuff i rarely use. I wanted to make it simlar to a few of the figures i tend to place in most of my paintings.

Another early sketch for a piece im workin on for my advanced watercolor class. its been messed around with in photoshop. i hope i can force it to come out the way it looks in my head…i will make it!!

Artist Inspiration

An artists that has recenttly crossed my path that i find very inspiring is Gregory Euclide. His use of color and line to create these surreal environments got me to think about my process when it comes to creating surreal lands. im posting some of my favorite images by this artist, check him out!!

im still very unsure how i feel about this piece i recently finished, i dont think its fully resolved and i dont think it stays true to what i intentionally wanted to do, but im going to post it anyway, and hopefully the next piece will be a step up
